I specialize in creative and fine art lifestyle portraiture for clients who value their personal art and want to document life – those who desire to tell their story in a natural and real way.
As a mom myself, I know how much it means to have fabulous images of my family that I want to look at on my walls each day or in an album that will be passed on to my daughter when she gets older. Whether it’s capturing those first few days of life or documenting those special life events that help define your life path, I am honored to capture the those special moments for my clients.
It is my goal to customize each photo shoot so that it meets the individual personalities, needs, and styles of my clients. No two people are the same, and I don’t think a photo shoot needs to be either!
A Phone Call to Get the Ball Rolling
During this scheduled phone conversation, it may be the first time we’ve talked and it gives me a chance to get to know you a little better, what you’re looking for in a photo shoot, and take down some basic information I’ll need to draw up our photography contract. It will also give you a chance to ask me any additional questions that you may have not had answered before about my photography services.
A Photo Shoot Questionnaire
Before our planning consultation, I will send out a questionnaire for you fill out in anticipation of our consultation. This will help you think more about what you’d really like to get out of your photo shoot as well as help focus our time during our planning consultation so that we get the most out of it!
A Photo Shoot Planning Consultation
During this planning consultation (preferably in-person, but it can be by phone or by email – whatever suits you best), I can get to know you better and together we will create a session tailored to your needs and wants. We will discuss the location of the photo shoot, a theme for your photo shoot if desired, ideas on outfit choices, props, makeup and hair, and any other questions that may come up.
Your Photo Shoot
Sessions are based off of what style/theme we decided on at your planning consultation and usually are around 1 to 1.5 hours and can be at a local location of your choice.
Each session usually result in 25-35 edited proofs for you to choose from.
An In-Person Viewing/Ordering Appointment
Approximately three to four weeks after your session we will get together at your home or mine so you can view your proofs. You will place your order at that time. If you need any help figuring out the best configurations for images on your wall, I’m here to help! That’s part of your customized experience!
